External Gear Pump ( Series EG )

Introduced in early 1970's, TUSHACO External Gear Pumps "EG" series continues to dominate the market providing reliable operation and ensuring trouble free performance over the years. Simple in construction, using only two pumping elements, the single helical gearing, supported on antifriction bearings, within the pump casing bores ensures perfect assembly and internal alignment. Alloy steel gears are surface hardened by nitriding process for longer surface life. Casing parts are made of high 

 


grade cast iron and processed on CNC machining centers for total interchangeability of components. Although, standard construction is in horizontal foot mounting, special version are executed in flange mounting and with sleeve type bearings for certain applications. For example, the main transmission oil filling pump on the CLW's Locomotive on the Indian Railways
.

TUSHACO EG series is a low pressure gear pump for transfer, booster and process pumping for general industrial needs. Liquids more commonly handled include all grades of fuel oils, lube oils, paints, varnish, resins, grease and similar high/low viscous products having some lubricating value.TUSHACO also has high pressure series HPG gear pumps in aluminum alloy casing, hardened spur gears and pressure compensated sleeve bearing for handling clean lubricating/ hydraulic oils typical for hydraulic duties, like jacking oil service for rotor lifting and for pressure and lubrication.

HPG series is suitable for clean hydraulic & lube oils, degree of filtration less than 100 microns, viscosity 3 to 350 cSt, maximum discharge pressure upto 180 bar, temperature <120°C. Pumps selection depends on factors like viscosity, temperature, fluid characteristics etc. Consequently, power requirements can only be calculated on the basis of specific data. Please ask for individual performance curves.
